4th Grade Ecotarium Rocket Program

Our JFK Elementary 4th graders had a blast with the Ecotarium’s rocket program! 🚀

These budding scientists worked in teams to design, build, and test their own paper rockets. After fine-tuning their creations on an indoor launcher, they took them to the big outdoor launcher, using a bike pump to build pressure and send them soaring! It was a fantastic hands-on experience that’s sure to launch them into 5th-grade science with enthusiasm. The Ecotarium instructor was incredibly impressed, stating it was the first time she’d seen a group so exceptionally kind, respectful, and supportive of one another. Way to go, Class of 2033, for demonstrating what it truly means to be a JFK Eagle! You’re all rock-et stars!
